“amg:od” is a compact pied-à-terre, shaped to sleep two, feed four and meet eight — all without mechanical transformation, or formal adjustments. Inside, the volume is divided into three zones: a low-ceiling bay-window niche for display and custom furniture; a high-ceiling main area for living and dining; and a lower utility strip for storage, service and access. At its heart sits the kitchen-island: positioned under a lowered ceiling yet central in plan, it becomes both altar and pivot — dividing and connecting public and service zones, inviting collaboration and stillness. Materiality is quiet, precise: birch plywood in three tones defines storage and furniture; walls painted in subtle grayed-greens; the floor in grey cementitious finish. A small unit, carefully composed, where every element has its time and place — for work, rest, gathering — without illusion.
