Each project begins with a position — not a formula.
We think through relationships between behaviour, function, and form.Principles
Style as a reference, not a preference.
Approach fits typology; every function is welcome.
Refurbishment, over new building.Behaviour determines function.
Function suggests form.
Form affects behaviour. -
Our work is design-led, analytically grounded, and materially precise.
Design-Led
We are driven by design considerations — functional, spatial, and aesthetic — rather than commercial or consumer pressures.
Empathic
We approach each brief as a hypothesis to be tested.
By theorising and re-framing the problem, we uncover new links between seemingly unconnected elements.Scripta Manent
We trust our process of analysis and documentation.
Every decision is recorded, every drawing informs the whole — protecting our clients’ investment in time, energy, and resources.Matter Matters
Material quality defines integrity.
Sloppiness and sketchiness are designed out early and monitored throughout construction.

Georgios MAKRIDIS
lead animal
(Otus cyprius)
He studied architecture, after studying structural engineering, and before stopping himself from studying Philosophy. Georgios is perpetually interested in the realisation of design. He had lived and studied in Athens and Oxford, before qualifying as a professional in the fields of his studies. His interests have been applied in teaching in art studios, the University of Cyprus, while entertaining a research degree on the topic of austerity, and -lately- in extra curricular activities of young people (5-12). Georgios authored and co-authored articles and publications, participated in group exhibitions and performances, and is currently a tutor in RIBA Studio. His work has been presented locally and internationally (New York, Oxford, London, Lisbon, and Ljubljana).
Constantina VOSKARIDOU
design druidess
(Vulpes vulpes indutus)
Constantina graduated from Nottingham Trent University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, and the Master of Architecture. Design projects benefit from her thorough and systematic approach, at the same time they maximise content in composition, and refinement. Making sense out of nonsense, and the ordering of dense ideas into steps of rationality are qualities that she has been steadily mastering. Constantina’s project mug n hug has been awarded with the Big SEE interior design award 2019 in the Retail category. Her work for the “Architecture Club” for Primary and Elementary Schools has been inspiring children since 2022. She has co-authored publications that have been exhibited locally and internationally.
Stelios MAKRIDES
consulting samurai
(Ovis gmelini ophion)
Stelios graduated from the Higher Technical Institute of Cyprus more than 35 years ago. After working in several domestic construction projects, he pursued a career in teaching where he had the chance to train hundreds of students in subjects like Quantity Surveying, Materials, Technical Drawing, Structures, Construction and the like. His publication on Quantity Surveying is currently taught in technical schools in Cyprus. Stelios decided to retire from his teaching career and devote his self in consulting in 2012. Stelios is the first and last person we relate our projects with, and has been the backbone of the practice both actively and spiritually.
Constantina CHARALAMBOUS
oxa
(Hemiechinus auritus)
She holds a Masters of Architecture from De Montfort University, that followed a BArch at the University of Nottingham. An architectural stunt-lady with a 'bring it on' attitude Constantina performs elaborate acrobatics between design moods, and disciplines, while she seeks motivation in the fundamental to deliver excellence. The magnitude of her design skills includes sensibility and sensitivity in spatial, graphic and industrial applications, as it includes the same virtues in culinary and likewise indulging experiences. She is currently freelancing a multidisciplinary practice that oscillates between space and graphics, however she keeps the connection with the practice alive with co-authored projects.

New Team Members
We are a practice that endeavours with the concept, the design, and the curation of the materialised architectural space. We are attracted by the timeless, the connected, the analytical, and the detailed. We design, research, educate, advise, write. New team members are welcome, and are mostly human beings -although aliens and the like have been seen in and around our office- that have graduated from an architecture school during the last 5 years, and have similar inlets and outlets with our practice.
Please send your résumé to gma@dogma.works and cvos@dogma.works, should the previous description fulfils your aspiration for your professional course, and should the next characteristics largely describe your professional position: architecture graduate withup to 5 years of experience, with strong technical interest for small and medium-scale architectural projects, with autonomous and analytical way of thinking, with love for detailing, and with focus on the creation of behaviour-driven architectural experience.
Our most frequent digital tools are AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, TwinMotion, basic Adobe suite, and basic Microsoft suite. We provide training relevant to the object and manner of our work, so that our team members can develop knowledge and skills. We aim for each one of us to contribute to the practice vision through their own personality.
