The space is a transformation of an atrium within a listed-building cluster in Paphos into a Mediterranean-style garden bistro and wine lounge. Five distinct zones structure the experience: lounging, dining beneath a pergola, high tables and stools, the bar, and service/storage.
The lounge sits along the southern edge, relaxed and facing the bar at the opposite end. The bar, long and linear, anchors the north side—its tiled surface and softly wooden bottle-niches fostering a quiet material richness. Perforated mesh and hollow-block walls wrap the perimeter and allow the existing olive trees and Mediterranean planting to become integral to the space, offering shade, texture and time.
Furniture is custom and contract-designed; lighting is zoned and tailored to each use; plants mature over seasons and soften the hard edges into a garden-like condition. The interior blends the ritual of wine, the ease of bistro dining and the external life of the square outside.
In short: a wine bar that invites presence, conversation and stillness in equal measure — where building, landscape and social gesture meet.
