Kouká Social Park is a thoughtfully composed excursion space around the natural spring of the Kouká valley. Anchored by the historic “cross of Kouká” legend and the lush biodiversity of the site, the design sets a gentle foundation for gathering, observation and nature’s own rhythms.
The layout unfolds in four clear zones: a modest parking area, a sheltered outdoor-cooking pavilion, a small amphitheatre surrounding the spring, and a raised boardwalk that threads through the botanic-like clearing beneath trees. Materially the project stays quiet: simple platforms, steps and ramps echo the site’s slope; vegetation is respected and largely untouched; the social gesture is relaxed — cook together, sit and listen, walk and pause. Here the architecture doesn’t dominate, but frames.
Kouká Social Park is not a spectacle, but a setting — a place where human scale meets the elemental: water, wood, light and time.
